Batteries Power The Whole World
Electric batteries are used as a power source for every kind of machine or electronic device you can imagine these days. The smallest of them might be powering the watch on your wrist right now, and the largest of them could be in the trunk of your car if you are driving an electric or hybrid automobile. Batteries, or power cells run our laptops when AC current is not available to us, they keep our cellular phones and MP3 players running while we are out running while listening to music, and they are the energy source driving pacemakers, catheters, and other medical devices that keep many of us alive. The battery has been around for a very long time, and there is no reason to believe that it won’t continue to be with us for a long time to come. More info: batteries Winchester

The Bore An Effective Piece Of Medieval Weaponry
The Bore which was quite similar to the Battering Ram and served the same purpose. The Bore was used to break down stone walls and doors and was designed much like the Battering Ram. It was smaller than the battering ram and could be used in more enclosed spaces. The end of the Bore looked more like a drill with a spiked metal head and rather than break the door down like the Ram it would be used to cause the door or wall to crumble because of the repetitive boring motion. Once the wall had come down foot soldiers would overrun the castle and engage in hand to hand combat. More info: medieval weaponry
